Mitsubishi Electric announced the establishment of Malaysia Factory Automation Center on the premises of its subsidiary Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia, in Selangor.
Starting om March 1, the new facility will help in reinforcing service and support for Mitsubishi Electric Factory The new facility, which is scheduled to start operating on March 1, will strengthen servicing and support for Mitsubishi Electric factory automation products in Malaysia. It will also ease the expansion to local market for the company in factory automation systems
The Malaysian factory automation market largely comprises an expanding base of local and Japanese enterprises. These firms span numerous industries, including electrical, electronic, automotive, food and beverage, and more, each of which requires various services for the factory automation products they use.
Up until recently, the servicing of Mitsubishi Electric’s factory automation products in Malaysia was handled by the company’s ASEAN factory automation center in Singapore.
Establishment of the facility will help in improving local access to timely service and support, while also provide training, technical consultation and proposals for system enhancements and upgrades to meet the rising expectations of local customers.
This year also remarks the 100th year anniversary of Japanese industrial giant, Mitsubishi Electric Group.
